Change Your Lifestyle. Change Your Life.

CYL2 logoWant to lose weight and feel great? Don't wait! Sign up for our Change Your Lifestyle. Change Your Life (CYL2) program today! You'll get your very own lifestyle coach to teach you how to eat healthier foods and move more throughout the day. And since it's a group-based program, when you're having a rough day and feel like slipping back into your old habits, your classmates will be there to keep you on track.

CYL2 can help you reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and other preventable illnesses. It's part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We currently partner with organizations across the country to deliver the program.

Lifestyle Coach and Master Coach Training

We train lifestyle coaches and master trainers for organizations interested in delivering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP), sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Coaches are trained on the National DPP Prevent T2 curriculum, which has been adapted for use in CYL2.

If you want us to bring the training to you, the minimum group size for training coaches is three (3).  If you want to attend a training at our DC location, please indicate that and we will let you know when the next training is scheduled. The cost per training is $750 per person.

The interactive, two-day training includes:

  • Expert master trainers experienced in motivating and coaching participants wanting to make important lifestyle changes.
  • Additional insights from our lifestyle coaches including best practices and lessons learned to ensure you
    benefit from our experience.
  • Motivational interviewing and group facilitation techniques.

Please review the CDC requirements for becoming a recognized diabetes prevention program provider at Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program.
